LettersWay… A Small Attempt to Find Our Way Back to One Another

We live in a time when what divides us has grown larger than what gathers us.

We settled for the phone, the book, the small screen. Each of us sat inside a private world, strangely united in our isolation, in our silence, in the distance that kept growing between us even as we sat in the same room.

We found ourselves longing for the noise of family, the laughter of friends, the long gatherings, the evenings that drift from a question into a story, from a small competition into a memory that stays.

That is where LettersWay — دروب الحروف — began.

It is a small attempt down that road. An attempt to play together again, to gather around a question, to argue over an answer, to laugh at a loss, to celebrate a win — and to reclaim something of those moments our homes and family gatherings used to make, before each of us disappeared into a screen.

The game is a hexagonal board of letters. A player picks a cell and faces a question whose answer begins with that cell's letter. Answer correctly, and the cell is yours — your path stretches across the board. The first to complete a path to the opposite edge wins.

But the game was never only about winning.

Every letter opens a door to a question, every question leads to a conversation, and every answer might summon a story, a memory, or something none of us knew. That is the idea we are chasing: for knowledge to become a new reason to gather.

We designed LettersWay for families and friends — two to six players or teams. Players join from their phones with a code or a QR scan, while the board appears in front of everyone on a TV, a computer, or a projector — no app to download, no account to create.

Since Ajyaal was founded, we have been searching for ways to bring knowledge closer, to make reading more present, and to weave the cultural experience into everyday life. With LettersWay, we begin a new path that brings language, play, technology, and human connection into one place.

This is only the beginning.

This is where we set out from, and we don't yet know where it will take us. It may become a family game, a classroom tool, a tournament between friends, or a new space for discovering language, culture, and knowledge.

All we know is that we wanted to begin.
